While I was away in Hongkong talking about “How To Tour in China“, Xiao Zhong of Pairs and tenzenmen of the record label / promoter of the same name have taken things into their own hands: The S.A.M.E., i.e. Sino-Australian Music Exchange, is dedicated to help foreign bands to come to China and tour.
All one has to do (well, except being an awesome band) is to send them the following:
- 1 or 2 mp3s of your music
- a one-page bio (shorter the better!)
- 1 jpg image of you/your band (just one – no more!)
- your contact email address
Thereafter S.A.M.E. will forward the same to their list of tour promoters and organizers for further contacting and potential tour organizing. Sounds good and can help others to come to China. So guys, get your stuff together and check them out.
